Participants will be recruited from over 10 adoption agencies throughout the United States where we will ask the agency to provide study information to all adult children of lesbian, gay or heterosexual parents, typically in the form of a flyer inviting them to participate in the study. We will also recruit participants using the method of snowball sampling. Interested Lesbian or gay parents can invite their adult child to participate in the proposed research study. A total of 325 adult children participants will be recruited, similar to the number used in Chang et al. 2003 study (2003). However, they used children and their parents. The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale is a self-report that contains a 10-item questionnaire that measures self-esteem (Stapleton, P., Crighton, G. J., Carter, B., Pidgeon, A., 2017). This scale will measure self-esteem which is a persons overall sense of self-worth or personal value. The questionnaire contains five positive Items about having self-value for instance â€Å"I feel that I have a number of good qualities.† The remaining five items express valueless stamens for example, â€Å"I certainly feel useless at times. â€Å"The items on the self-esteem scale are scored on a 4 point Likert scale, the score of 1 being strongly disagree to the score of 4 being strongly agree. Scores are then calculated; higher scores reflect a higher self-esteem and lower scores reflect a lower self-esteem. In Sinclair et al. (2010) study he reported high internal consistency for the RSES in an American community sample (ÃŽ ± = .91), and good convergent and divergent validity. On September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda, an Islamic extremist group, orchestrated an attack on the United States. Concluding in thousands of deaths and injuries; emotional distress and fear in all the civilians of the United States. Hijacked airplanes were crashed into the Twin Towers, an empty field in Pennsylvania and right outside the Washington D.C. Pentagon. These inhuman actions contradict the true aspects of the Islamic religion. The religion preaches: equality, love, peace, mercy, righteousness, morality, justice, sincerity, tolerance, truth and forgiveness. Additionally, the Qur’an wished for the followers to behave in a human and civilized matter. The Qur an, the holy book of Islam, addresses the knowledge that humanity is imperfect and will sin, but that is where the aspect of forgiveness comes in. Although the true meaning of Islam, many uneducated civilians discriminated all Muslims for their choice of religion and the destruction of 9/11. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the consumer responses on their awareness about different refrigerator brands, their media of information and impact of advertisement on their purchase decision. Three popular brands were mainly identified after conducting interviews with the consumers and these brands were used in the questionnaire for evoking the responses of the consumers. Random sampling was used to select the sample unit. The sample size was limited to 120 numbers selected from different source.
